The successful candidate will be someone with technical, data processing, communication and organizational skills, and significant eDiscovery project-management experience. The successful candidate will project professionalism, have meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with our staff, clients and clients’ outside counsel to lead eDiscovery projects to a successful completion, as well as maintain and cultivate business and client relationships.
Job Description: bit-x-bit is seeking an experienced eDiscovery Project Manager with a strong technical background to work in a fast-paced litigation and client-driven environment. The successful candidate will be someone with strong technical, communication and organizational skills, and significant eDiscovery project-management experience. The successful candidate will project professionalism, exhibit meticulous attention to detail, and work closely with our staff, clients and clients’ outside counsel to lead eDiscovery projects to a successful completion, as well as maintain and cultivate business and client relationships.
Requisite skills, experience and responsibilities include:
• Five years+ of experience in the use of eDiscovery review platforms (Relativity and Syllo are preferred); utilization of analytics, active learning, and/or genAI technologies.
• Experience managing the technical and human aspects of eDiscovery projects, including collection/receipt of client data, data processing (including quality control measures and exception reporting), data loading, workspace management, and running productions.
• Proactive and consultative approach to eDiscovery engagements, with a focus on strategic counseling, efficiency and cost mitigation.
• Creative, entrepreneurial, and business-building skills.
• Preferred skills:
o Understanding and experience with administering SQL databases.
o Experience managing contract reviewers.
o Certifications in processing and review technologies.
o Other eDiscovery certifications (e.g., ACEDs)
o Active J.D. license
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Location: Negotiable. Headquarters are in Pittsburgh, PA. The position can be filled in-office as well as via partial or fully remote arrangements.
